Reduced operating cost
High Manganese cast mill lining plates last long and keep a stable quality. NGZR has a large production capacity, with an advanced lost foam process, a fully automatic precision casting line and a manual resin-sand wooden mould casting line. This lets us offer all customers more competitively priced products, so their unit production cost drops below its earlier level.

Tailored alloy steel composition
To meet client requirements, the NGZR foundry can adjust the alloy steel composition (Mn: 11-23%) or add other special metallic elements (Cr /Mo /Cu /Ni etc). Combined with special heat treatment, this gives the cast mill liner particular mechanical properties that suit each customer's different working conditions.

Custom drawings, sizes and shapes
The NGZR foundry can produce customized mill liners from the customer's drawings of existing ones. We can also modify the shape, thickness and wear quality of existing mill liner plates, so the customer spends less on liners and gains higher production efficiency.

On-site measurement & installation guidance
Should a customer be unable to supply drawings of the existing mill liner, NGZR will send a service engineer to take measurements and handle the design as a one-stop service, free of charge.
On request, NGZR will provide door-to-door installation guidance for a fee.

Applications

1. Choose the alloy material to match the size of the existing mill
When the mill diameter grows larger (more than 6 meters), the grinding media and mineral deliver more impact force to the mill liner, abrasive wear loss of the liner increases, and its service life shortens. You should therefore select a material with high wear resistance, such as high chromium alloy steel or an alloy-ceramic composite material.
If the ball mill diameter is under 6 meters, a material with a lower unit cost, such as Mn-Cr alloy steel (M13Cr2- Mn18Cr2), can be chosen.

2. Choose the liner thickness to match the RCM
As the mill's RCM (reliability-centered maintenance) interval gets longer, the mill liner needs to be thicker. But a thicker liner raises the total liner weight, which pushes up the liner purchase cost and lowers production efficiency.
The best option is therefore the thinnest, highest-quality mill liner that suits the mill; a rational RCM interval will raise production efficiency and cut production costs.

3. Develop and design a better liner shape
A better shape (the steps on the inside of the cylinder liner) lets the mill grind more effectively and increases both production capacity and quality!
