High Abrasion-Resistant High Chrome Cast Grinding Steel Ball & Cylpebs for Cement Ball Mill
Product Overview
Also called a tube grinder, the cement ball mill is a grinder with several chambers. A mill whose aspect ratio is above 4 is known as a long mill or tube mill. Cement plants commonly use medium and long mills, which are usually divided inside into 2-4 compartments.
Modern industry counts the tube mill among its key pieces of fine grinding equipment, and it is one of the most common and important machines in grinding systems. Large tube mills offer high production capacity. Its features are a high crushing ratio, high production capacity, strong adaptability to materials and easy replacement of worn parts. A tube mill mainly consists of a cylinder, a feeding section, an unloading section, a transmission section and so on.
Balls or cylpebs, the grinding media, are carriers that help crush & grind minerals in a ball mill. In a cement ball mill, large balls or cylpebs go into the first chamber and small cylpebs into the second. Cylpebs are cylindrical, and this shape grinds more efficiently than small balls. Super high chromium (Cr: 16-28%) cast grinding balls and cylpebs combine high hardness (HRC 58-67) with lower grinding media consumption, making them the best choice for cement and for other highly hard minerals such as Lead-Zinc ore and Quartz sand.
